The Story So Far

Zoe Benton accidentally discovers she harbors a dark power, when she attempts to have sex with her boyfriend.  Mystically inducing a brain hemorrhage within him, she nearly murders him.
And that’s the most normal moment with her life.
Before her boyfriend, Ryan, can perish, an icy wind inexplicably places him into a suspended coma.  As the paramedics come to take Ryan to the local hospital, Zoe’s parents are about to criticize her about the incident.  Suddenly, another wintry breeze brushes by, causing the Bentons to claim Zoe’s acceptance letter has come in from a mysterious academy.  Adding to this is a strange, brown envelope addressed to her.  Opening it, she notices all it says is: GET YOUR THINGS AND BE READY TO GO TOMORROW AT 11:00. FANGARIUS.

Meanwhile at the St. Cedric’s Hospital, Ryan is visited by an ominous figure known as Dr. McDonwald.  Casting an enchantment of persuasion upon the medical staff, he manages to gain access to the comatose boy’s room.  Ensuring nobody else is there, Dr. McDonwald temporarily seals the door, as he inspects Ryan’s current condition.
Satisfied with what the machines indicate, Dr. McDonwald produces an ominous, dark wine bottle.  Pouring up a dram of the alchemistic fluid, he places the small container to Ryan’s lips and administers it.  Instantaneously, the young man is cured of his unnatural ailments, as he’s about to regain consciousness.  Consequently, Dr. McDonwald reveals his true form by placing his right, darkened, claw-tipped forefingers upon Ryan’s forehead.  Uttering an obscure incantation under his breath, Dr. McDonwald promptly alters Ryan’s memory.  Following up by performing a similar enchantment over the entire hospital staff before vanishing from the room, and unsealing the door.
Later that day, the Bentons receive a peculiar phone call, claiming Ryan had forgotten to take his allergy medication, thus had a severe reaction to the sheets upon Zoe’s bed.  Zoe acknowledges something odd is occurring, since her strict parents hardly bat an eye at the news, appearing more relieved than disturbed by the news.
Though Zoe senses something amiss, she receives a strange, British voice in her head, instructing her not to correct her parents, for her own protection.
The next day, while Zoe is preparing her suitcase, she hears a bizarre sound wafting in the atmosphere.  Almost reminding her of the car in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, she nervously looks out her window.  Much to her surprise, she views a brown roadster and a being walking towards her door.
Hearing the doorbell ring, Zoe listens from her cracked door, as a British voice introduces himself as Dr. Fangarius from Miss Robichaux’s Academy.  Suddenly she hears her mother calling for her, prompting her to carry her suitcase downstairs.  Reaching the living room, Zoe is ultimately disconcerted to witness a humanoid wolf creature, dressed in normal clothes, wearing a multicoloured headband, calmly having a conversation with her folks.
Inexplicably, when her parents introduce him as Dr. Fangarius, Zoe hardly is frightened by the being, as he politely shakes her hand.

Later driving down a lone road in the roadster, the being reveals himself to be Fangariusotgenoamcdonwald, or Gen, for short. Gen informs Zoe he had just gotten to both Ryan and her in time, since her parents’ true intention was to have her institutionalized for being a homicidal maniac.  Instead Gen had taken care of Ryan for Zoe, then immediately had come to fetch her.
Fearing about the letter, Zoe discovers Gen has taken care of it, for if anybody else attempts to read it, it will simply appear as a typical acceptance form letter.
Zoe learns Gen comes from an ancient race of Paranormal Wolf-Beings called Tombeurians, and belongs to a Clanstribes known as the Fangarians (hence the Crimson F-Symbol upon his sweater).  Claiming they have been on Earth for over several millennia, Gen indicates it’s his job to help locate displaced Paranormals and take them to the appropriate institutions  of learning.  In this case, Gen serves as an educational counselor and director of the Miss Robichaux’s Academy.
Zoe hesitates, presuming the Tombeurian had simply prefabricated the place as a means for getting her away from her parents. Though she’s impressed on how Gen magically persuaded them into letting her go, Gen admits he actually did nothing but flash his infravision at them.  Gullible over the sight of his blood-crimson eyes, Zoe’s parents willingly believed they were under a spell cast by the Tombeurian.
Nevertheless, Gen informs Zoe about her incident with Ryan, claiming she was not at fault since this was an involuntary reaction performed by her subconscious mind.  He explains once they enroll her at the Academy, he and Miss Cordelia will teach her how to properly utilize her powers, as well as learning when she can and cannot use them in public.

After a slight detour to a nearby Stuckey’s (where Gen demonstrates his culinary skills to Zoe), they arrive in New Orleans.  Once getting her settled into her room, Gen introduces Zoe to her fellow classmates, who are a Coven of Salem descendants as well.  She meets with Madison Montgomery, a telekinetic and recovering drug abuser who was once a child film star (and seems to give Gen a lot of flak); Queenie, a descendant of Tituba (and Mama Creole’s niece, making her Gen’s cousin), with the power of inflicting wounds towards others by harming herself without feeling any pain (also thinks Gen is cool), and Nan, a clairvoyant who can hear the thoughts of others, as well as departed spirits (which she likes Gen who informs these spirits time and again she is NOT a living Ouija board).
The Academy is run by Headmistress Cordelia Foxx (who is also an appointed member of the ParaCouncil), who is enthusiastic of locating another witch attending her hallowed halls.  Secretly, however, she gets into a heated discussion with Gen for implementing a strange substance called Amontillado, reminding him about how the concoction has been sought after by her mother, Fiona Goode.
Fiona—the Coven’s Supreme, or witch endowed with the Seven Wonders of Witchcraft—does not exactly have a good standing with the Fangarian.  The Academy is looked after by Spalding, a mute butler who has a mysterious relationship with Fiona, but was once saved by Gen from the hunters.  The Coven is assessed not only by the Council of Witchcraft, but the ParaCouncil (which Cordelia is a member), and the Shadow Proclamation (headed by Gen’s cousin, Fangexlcoatl).
Rounding out the Coven roster is Myrtle Snow.  Not only is she an oldest, dearest friend to the Fangarian Clanstribe, but serves as Cordelia’s mother figure, and happens to be Fiona’s longstanding rival.  As well as a member of the Council of Witchcraft.

Nevertheless, the events transpiring up to this episode commence when Gen acknowledges a flyer for the Annual Autumn Equinox Celebration being held at the Le Fantôme De Minuit Hotel.  Recalling how it once was a Paranormal sacred convention, the Celebration has now evolved into a gathering of fraternities.
Considering Zoe doesn’t know anyone here in New Orleans, Gen suggests Madison take her to the event.  Since he knows some of the attendees are secretly Paranormals and warlocks in disguise, he feels Zoe can get acquainted and learn first-hand about their experiences.
Sensing Madison might have other intentions there, Gen warns them not to use their powers unless absolutely necessary, and discreetly, if possible.
Once there, Zoe meets up with the Kappa Lambda Gamma President Kyle Spencer, whom for some reason, reminds her of the Fangarian.  Besides taking a liking to her, Kyle reveals he and Gen are actually close friends, where the Fangarian has always been for him during tough times.  They both laugh when Zoe and him feel Gen has somehow set them up on a blind date.
Kyle adds he is not disturbed by Gen’s lupine features, making an ominous quote his friend once had told him.
‘The genuine, worst monsters in life aren’t always the ones possessing claws and fangs.’
Consequently, the blissful moment comes to an end when Kyle senses Madison is in serious trouble.  Regrettably his frat brothers perform a ghastly ritual by intoxicating Madison into an induced stupor, then gang raping her.  Despite the futile attempt to prevent them, Kyle does enigmatically snap Madison out of her drugged condition.  Only to get himself knocked unconscious and dragged back by his frat brothers into their awaiting bus.  Completely abstemious at this point, she becomes aware what has nearly occurred back at the hotel.  Enraged, Madison ruthlessly enacts her revenge by utilising her abilities to flip their bus, killing Kyle and six other members.  Two of the boys survive and are placed within critical care at St. Johnson’s.
Consequently Zoe and Madison’s troubles are only just starting as they are greeted by a slightly-annoyed Fangarian awaiting them at the Academy.

Elsewhere in New York, Fiona Goode realizes she has been cursed with an untreatable cancer, surmising the cause is the coming of the new Supreme.  However, in a brief flashback, we discover from Gen, Fiona has had a gruesome history of constantly abusing her powers.  In addition, her activities have drawn unwanted attention towards the Paranormal society, therefore, Gen suspects her cancer stems not only from her misuse of her abilities, but possible retribution brought about by the ParaCouncil and the Shadow Proclamation.
In a private discussion, Fiona has inexplicably learned about the Amontillado which the Tombeurians were once famous for within the Ancient World.  She requests Gen to give her some of the wondrous elixir, in hopes of effectively curing her condition once and for all.  Gen politely refuses, indicating the Amontillado would have absolutely little to no effect upon her, since her ailment is not exactly a natural condition.

Infuriated by this memory, Fiona has been desperately—in vain—attempting various methods for regaining her lost youth and curing her body from this malady.  Proving this ruthless desire, when a bioengineer’s serum fails to yield the intended results, Fiona bitterly drains the man of his youth, when he not only attempts to resign from her company, but threaten to expose her questionable practices for testing out dangerous biochemicals.

Observing the evening sky, Fiona acknowledges the peculiar, amethyst clouds forming over the horizon.  Recognising the emerald lightning bolts dancing wildly throughout the atmosphere, she immediately perceives it is a Corinthian dispatch from the Shadow Proclamation.  Judging where its trajectory is headed, Fiona acquires a wicked thought, prompting her to book a flight to New Orleans.

Back at the Academy, Zoe has been sequestered to her room with Queenie and Nan, while Gen is engaged with an extremely-heated conversation  with Madison over her careless behaviour at the Hotel.
Madison caustically protests she had been haplessly violated by barbarians, and she was simply defending herself.  Gen indignantly reproaches her by stating he’s not disparaging her over defending herself.  Instead he is more concerned with the means she had chosen to deal with the situation.

‘You could have made them impotent! You could have them self-castrated! Curse them with a transgender incantation! The Ancient knows,  you keep invading my sanctum and snatching my Grimoires!’ He vehemently shouts, shaking the entire Academy.

By means of her clairvoyance, Nan discovers what transpired at the hotel.  Followed by the sudden lightning storm, Queenie determines Zoe and Madison are in grave disaster, but not with Gen and Cordelia.  Instead it appears The Shadow Proclamation has been made aware of the bus incident, and have dispatched an Adjudicator.
According to Queenie, Adjudicators are only sent down whenever a witch—or Paranormal—inadvertently commits murder of another sentient being publicly.  Primarily Adjudicators perform two vital tasks: (1) Evaluate if the motive behind the murder was genuinely justified; and (2) initiate the appropriate damage control, as well as disciplinary action, if determined by the Shadow Proclamation.
Nan swiftly adds the reason Gen is so infuriated by Madison’s action is, technically he and Cordelia are still responsible for her and the others actions.  Meaning both the ParaCouncil and Shadow Proclamation will hold them accountable for what has occurred. Perplexed with this explanation, Zoe inquires about the ParaCouncil, where Queenie compares them to the County Sheriff’s Department, explaining this is how it works.
The Council of Witchcraft serves like the Coven authorities, whereas the ParaCouncil deals with regional Paranormal areas, and the Shadow Proclamation is sort of like the Paranormal Feds.  She claims it all adds up to them being investigated because legally witches and Paranormals are not supposed to use their talents in public, for any reason whatsoever.
Nan explains each Paranormal District is appointed an Adjudicator.  Apparently their Adjudicator is from the Corinthian Clanstribe, known as Jean-Damme.  Recalling Gen’s explanation, Zoe feels perhaps Jean-Damme might be lenient, since he is also a Tombeurian like the Fangarian.
Queenie laughs, shaking her head, admitting the Corinthians aren’t too fond of any humanoid beings, particularly witches and Tellurian mortals.

Fearing the possible worst, Zoe decides she must prevent Jean-Damme from severely punishing Gen and Cordelia for her and Madison’s actions.

The next night, Zoe reluctantly goes downstairs when Queenie and Nan inform her of Jean-Damme’s arrival.  When she reaches the Main Hall, she meets up with Gen, Cordelia and Madison.  When Zoe encounters Jean-Damme, on the other hand, she is completely stunned by his presence.  For unlike the Fangarian, Jean-Damme gives the illusion of a 1950s biker, complete with leather jacket, pants and boots.  His shirt bears an emerald C-Symbol and he wears shades, but appears more humanesque than bestial.  Though he still does retain his darkened, claw-tipped hands, fangs and wolf’s tail.
Politely curtseying before the Adjudicator, Zoe first apologises to him, then Gen and Cordelia for interrupting the investigation, but she wants to establish the incident was not their fault.  She completely stupefies her guardians, and Madison, by taking responsibility for the incident.
Jean-Damme hesitates momentarily, before removing his shades, he smiles admirably at Zoe.  Approvingly discerning her courteous behaviour, he compliments Cordelia for still instilling some manners to their students. He glances at Madison, adding some could benefit from Zoe’s disposition, as well as bravery, since she obviously knows the seriousness of the situation.
Zoe gives her account of the hotel events, confirming Madison was indeed drugged and had been sexually assaulted.  She then adds it was her fault for not looking out for her fellow witch, and preventing her from acting out wisely.  Afterwards, she requests Jean-Damme if he has to give out disciplinary action upon anyone, to give her the full reprimand.
Impressed with Zoe’s mature attitude, the Corinthian transmits an updated account to the Shadow Proclamation.
In minutes, Jean-Damme receives an answer, informing the Proclamation have decided to waive their sentence upon the Academy.  But Gen knows this is not done out of the goodness of the Proclamation’s hearts, since the Paranormal Laws are clear on this subject:  retribution must be paid.  Jean agrees but claims since Zoe is willingly accepting the consequences, and it is her first offense, the Proclamation have devised an alternative means of compensation.
Producing an ancient container in his left hand, Jean-Damme informs Zoe of what she must do to make amends.

Midnight at St. Johnson’s, Zoe covertly enters the medical facility unnoticed by the staff.  Heading towards the rapist’s room, she promptly holds out the ancient jar, and proceeds to engage sexual relations with him.  Instantly killing him via brain hemorrhage, Zoe immediately utters the silent incantation Jean-Damme has given her.  At that moment the boy’s body emits an emerald glow, while the container’s top flips open.  As the boy opens his mouth, a gaseous vapour of emerald-cerulean force emerges and is sucked into the jar.
Afterwards, the body becomes lifeless and the container seals itself.  Rather than exiting out of the room, Jean-Damme creates a portal through the patient’s bathroom, sending her back to the Academy.  Giving the jar back to Jean-Damme, he hands Gen and Cordelia an official slip of paper, stating the Shadow Proclamation have absolved them of the charges.  Essentially because now, the boy’s death will be ruled out as sustained injuries taking their toll, causing his brain to destroy itself in the process.

Even though Zoe detects she has made proper restitution for Madison’s transgression, the tense atmosphere within the Academy claims otherwise.  Handing the certification to Cordelia, Gen softly requests she files it appropriately with their business papers.  The Fangarian gives Madison an expression of disgust and loathing, while she now bears a look of genuine remorse and shamefulness.  Though nothing is said, Zoe deduces there is more to this incident than meets the eye, as Gen tells Madison not to speak by uttering one word: ‘Don’t.’ He languidly speaks. ‘Just don’t.’
They watch as the Fangarian emotionlessly walks upstairs towards his room.
Cordelia looks sadly upstairs, before turning towards the girls, stating it’s best they all retire, and if they have any sense, never speak of this incident again.

Easier said than done, since the next day heralds disaster as the Academy receives two unexpected visitors.  The first one, much to Cordelia and Gen’s chagrin, is Fiona Goode.  But before they can deal with her sudden visitation, Detective Henry Mason arrives on the scene as well.
Apparently Mason wishes to question both Zoe and Madison about the bus incident, as he claims they are investigating it, as well as the surviving suspect’s inexplicable death.  Cordelia dismisses it as the suspect’s wounds were beyond repair, causing his brain to hemorrhage, since she once was a medical professional.  But Mason rebukes her claim, insisting the doctors in his care had expected the suspect to make an amazing recovery.
During Zoe’s interrogation, Mason informs her there were witnesses who saw her leave the suspect’s room prior to his death.  Regrettably, thanks to Fiona subtly implementing a loquacious aroma in the atmosphere, Zoe cannot help but confess to everything about the incident.  Until another wintry blast causes the doors to slide open, shattering the enchantment over Zoe.
Cordelia promptly dismisses the girls, Mason begins warning her and Fiona unless they come clean, he will report the Academy for obstructing a police investigation.  Not favoring the detective’s attitude, Fiona makes an attempt to persuade him into imbibing a suspicious beverage.  Consequently, she discovers the man is not an easy target, becoming rather agitated towards his resistance.  Abruptly, they are interrupted by Gen, shattering Fiona’s concentration.
Strangely, it’s not Gen’s intrusion which catches them off-guard, but the Tombeurian’s dubious attire.
Dark shirt with the top buttons unfastened, tight jeans and black ropers, complimented by dark glasses.  Casually removing the glasses, his sapphire-hazel eyes establish contact with Mason.  Mesmerized by the being, Mason doesn’t even realize Gen is seductively approaching him.  He politely apologizes for Fiona’s behavior, indicating she is merely being protective of their students.  Complimenting on the man’s resourceful, investigative skills, Gen covertly leads the detective through the side wall doors, claiming he will be happy to show him out.
Cordelia and Fiona exchange puzzled expressions, since they perceive those doors do not lead out into the Main Hall.
Completely oblivious of Gen’s motives, Mason thanks the being for rescuing him from Fiona.  Gen insists the detective is correct about the Academy not wanting to be charged, and realized he better prevent her from making another grave mistake.
Before Mason learns they are not in the Main Hall, Gen spins round, pinning up the man against the wall.  Exhaling a pink, venomous mist over him, Gen places the detective into an ecstatic trance.  Gen promptly embraces the helpless man with a passionate kiss, while mystically activating a nearby turntable.
The 45 rpm, vinyl disc drops, the needle starts playing K.C. and the Sunshine Band’s ‘That’s the Way (I Like It).’ As the introduction plays, Mason suspiciously hears the subtle resonance of a zipper opening up.
Lyrics escaping from the speaker, Mason experiences indescribable sensations.  Whenever Gen hears the ‘uh-huh’ components, on cue, he performs sharp pelvic thrusts upon the detective.  Enthralled by the Fangarian’s erotic dance, he feels his strength diminishing, his mind going numb.
Creating altered lyrics from the song, Gen weaves an inescapable spell over the man.
Launching his own interrogation, Gen demands to know Mason’s true intentions here.
He chillingly informs the detective he has already seen through the deception before Fiona and Cordelia did.
The Tombeurian wastes little time informing the Tellurian about the truth concerning the incident.  One, while Zoe and Madison were at the scene, they had already been interrogated as witnesses, not as suspects, since it was officially ruled as an unfortunate accident.  Two, the New Orleans Police Department has an exclusive arrangement with the Academy.  And three, because the incident was never classified as a homicide, nobody had been assigned to guard the suspect’s room.  Even if there was a shadow of doubt to have someone stationed there, the Shadow Proclamation had sagely placed an amnesia field over the entire facility.  Meaning logically, nobody would have seen Zoe because they would not have remembered it in the first place.
Therefore, how exactly could Mason have known about Zoe’s presence at the hospital?

Listening to the sounds emanating from the other room, both Cordelia and Fiona identify it as a phonomantic bewitchment.  Considering the Fangarian’s current disposition, the both immediately enter the room.  They disturbingly observe Mason involuntarily glued to the wall, performing vulgar gestures, while Gen sits at the far end of the room.
Relaxing in his favorite chair, Gen silently enjoys one of his VapeSticks.  Cordelia senses something’s amiss, since her associate rarely indulges in such habits.  Blowing some pink vapor rings towards Mason, he wickedly informs Fiona there are times he admits agreeing with her about Tellurian behavior.  Apparently they do possess demented—if not perverted—imaginations at times.  Since Gen has used Mason’s subconscious mind against the man by the simple means of a psitronomic disc.
Perceiving he’s pumped all the information he can acquire from the detective, he disperses his VapeStick.
Sighing, Gen stands in akimbo fashion.  Performing one intense, pelvic thrust towards the man, Mason becomes ensnared by a Parakinetic Surge.  Falling to his knees, Mason is now immobilized while Gen gradually approaches him.
The Fangarian grotesquely informs Fiona he had just prevented her from making a fatal error with the officer.
Despite the fact Mason is genuinely from the New Orleans PD, Gen had detected the familiar stench of the Chasse-sorci upon the Tellurian’s corporeal form.  Translating the Tombeuric phrase, Cordelia incredulously stares at the detective.
Fiona becomes curious upon how Gen—other than scent—had identified Mason’s deception.
Gen indicates he helps out the Academy finances by running a ParaInvestigations Agency.  Meaning he assists the local authorities handle unexplained cases of Paranormal Activity.  In exchange, besides paying him his investigation fees, the authorities leave both the Academy, and Coven, out of their investigations.  Consequently, if a circumstance should arise where they cannot avoid getting them involved, Gen is first notified about it, so he can effectively prepare for any contingency.
Thus, when Mason came here unannounced, and the Fangarian was not contacted by the Commissioner about the visitation, he had suspected something was not on the level about his presence.
Impressed with his resourceful actions, Fiona approves of how Gen has handled the situation.  She adds she gets delighted whenever he bares his fangs upon a situation, than just covering it up.  Cordelia, on the other hand, fears her associate might be doing something rather drastic.
Holding up his left forefinger, extending his claw-tip, which is now illuminating with polychromatic force, Gen reassures her he has a more effective means for dealing with Mason.
The problem with Chasse-sorci is, unlike standard Tellurian mortals, potions and direct enchantments are practically useless.  For they have some kind of counter-protection which either causes the spell to boomerang back on the caster, or renders it totally ineffective.
But being a Paranormal by nature, the Fangarian knows there are other methods for dealing with them.
The woman fascinatingly watch Gen places his claw-tip just over the surface of the man’s forehead. With deft precision, he mystically scrawls ancient glyph upon Mason’s forehead, uttering an inaudible incantation.

During this Paranormal session, Zoe and Madison seize the opportunity to stealthy enter Gen’s mysteriously spacious room.  Combination of library and ancient laboratory, they feel as if they’ve stepped into a 1960s horror film, but bravely venture into the place.  Madison does this due to encountering the Fangarian’s anguish screams of lament out at the Swamp Gazebo at four in the morning.  From Zoe’s perspective, she ends up learning the horrible truth from Queenie and Nan about Kyle Spencer:  the fraternity president is in reality, Fangarius’ half-brother.
Madison’s revelation came from Jean-Damme, when he callously identified the victims to Gen.  Wracked relentlessly with guilt for her carelessness, not to mention putting Zoe into a precarious spot with the Shadow Proclamation, she elects to both repay her classmate and make amends by undoing Kyle’s untimely fate.
Locating the appropriate Grimoire amongst Gen’s arcane library, Madison instructs Zoe to go towards the laboratory section and search for a cabinet.  Preferably one resembling a liquor cabinet, since Madison suspects they will require more than just an incantation for saving Kyle.
Coming across a mahogany-paneled cabinet, Zoe discovers it contains two ominously-dark wine bottles, both bearing an ancient label marked:  AMONTILLADO.
Remembering this particular beverage mentioned several times by Gen, Zoe reluctantly notices one of the bottles is ornately sealed.  She is about to reach for it, when Madison sagely prevents her from selecting it.  Extracting the other one from its spot, Madison carefully removes its cork.  Pouring some of the crimson fluid into a small phial, she then re-corks the bottle, seals up the phial, and returns it to the cabinet.

Later Gen and Cordelia summon the girls down to the Main Hall.  Gen informs the young witches he must go to Beaumont, Texas on ParaInvestigation business.  Considering what has transpired in the past weeks, he and Cordelia decide on giving them a reading assignment as part of their Legendskeeping Studies.

BRIEF SIDE-STORY:  NEW ORLEANS 1830s
Creole socialite, Plantation Queen, Slave Killer and Sang-Sorci (Blood Witch in Tombeur-French), Madame Delphine LaLaurie runs the French Quarter in fear, but is only biding her time.  Unknown to her, not only have the Voodun Priestess have been angered by her sadistic ways, but the Corinthian Clanstribe secretly instigates a blood feud against her, lead by Sean-Drel and his Frelan (brother), Jean-Damme, for her family stealing their land.

Jean-Damme visits the Academy, correcting the Legends as it erroneously claims the Corinthians had invaded Madame Delphine’s estate and mindlessly slaughtered the entire members of a social gathering she was holding.  Instead Jean spins a tale where Sean-Drel conjures forth a plot which sinisterly became the inspiration of Poe’s ‘Masque of the Red Death.’

During the planning of her Annual All Hallow’s Eve Ball, Madame Delphine decides her guests will all wear masques and enjoy the festivities until midnight, where she ritually slaughters a chosen slave to consume their blood.  Jean indicates, however, the Clanstribe had other plans for that night.  Since the Corinthians possessed a few members with humanesque features, they secretly had mingled into the party-goers, while Sean-Drel himself saved the intended slave and creates an elixir of his own.  As midnight nears, Sean-Drel and Jean-Damme observe Delphine and the attendees drink the presumed sangria.  Wearing red masques, as Sean and Jean pass through the giant mansion, they covertly release a crimson dust, which activates the toxic beverage.  Instantly the party-goers die horrible, as if they have become victims of what the locals referred to as the Crimson Eternal Sleep.

Except for Delphine, who desperately attempts to escape her mansion, only to be stopped by an angry mob of slaves, led by a Voodun Priestess desiring revenge.  Jean ends the tale by stating he and his Frelan had left her to her own fate, then curiously adds they also did this not just for the slaves, or their Clanstribe, but for Fangarius as well (which here, he refers to Gen as the Little One).

Before departing, the Corinthian remembers why he came to the Academy.  Thanking Zoe for her invaluable assistance with his investigation (Cordelia raises an eyebrow over Jean’s denotation), he gives her a curious package:  a fob watch with strange designs upon it.  He tells Zoe she will encounter Misty Day, being quite certain of this prediction, and when she does, to give the Sans-Morti Sorci it.

CONTINUING THE STORY SO FAR

Madison and Zoe covertly venture out late at night to the City Morgue, where they expect Kyle’s cadaver will be awaiting them.  Regrettably, forgetting the rotten security there, grave robbers have already invaded.  Snatching choice organs from the bodies, the only remnants the girls find are Kyle’s head and spare parts from his frat brothers.  Though it now appears hopeless, as Zoe and Madison are clueless on how to salvage the situation, the Grimoire responds to their disdain by springing to life.
Suspending itself in mid-air, the arcane tome opens itself up.  Strong winds blow, spinning its pages rapidly until it automatically stops upon  a peculiar passage.
Using the Incantesimo di Reinserimento, Madison and Zoe cause the body parts to neatly assemble themselves to Kyle’s head.  During this transcendent process, Zoe acknowledges the Grimoire claims it does not belong to Gen.  But rather someone known as ‘Lynn.
Notwithstanding, once Kyle’s makeshift physique is reconstituted, the Grimoire reacts by flipping through its pages once more.  This time it stops upon the Fórmula de la Resurrección Amontillado.  Cautiously reading the instructions, Madison administers the phial into Kyle’s mouth, while Zoe simultaneously reads the incantation.  This ancient ritual begins by levitating Kyle’s body several inches from the metal slab.  Suddenly it begins emanating an illuminative force of polychromatic energy.
Within minutes, the special effects disperse, Kyle’s body gradually lowers back upon the slab table, where he has been successfully been returned to the living.
But hardly in the way the young witches expect.
Disoriented and terrified, Kyle cryptically demands for his Gen-Gen.  His zealous disdain attracts the unwarranted attention of a maintenance worker.  Before Zoe and Madison respond, Kyle telepathically intoxicates the worker, resulting in the interloper passing out in a drunken stupor.  His increased antagonism creates a parakinetic tempest.
Amidst the supernatural maelstrom, Zoe miraculously deciphers the connection, recalling Kyle’s connection with the Fangarian.  Madison promptly calms Kyle down, stating his Gen-Gen had sent them here to come and fetch him.
Reluctantly Kyle looks round as Zoe willingly agrees with Madison’s account, adding they need to go back to the Academy.
Trusting Zoe, Kyle goes with the girls without question.  Along the way, the girls uncover cryptic cues from the newly-reanimated young man.  Despite his intelligence being temporarily impaired, Kyle starts weeping again.  Besides desperately wanting Gen, he dubiously keeps going on about not wanting to be taken away.

Back at the Academy, Madison replaces the Grimoire back into Gen’s macabre library, Zoe manages on getting Kyle inside the vast building without anyone finding out about his presence.  Amazingly Kyle accepts the prospect of living in the attic, claiming this was once his and Gen’s special place.  Apparently whenever things got bad for the fraternity president, he must have been allowed to come here to get away from things for a while.  Before Kyle can become agitated, wanting Gen, Zoe informs him the Fangarian is on his way back from investigating a case.  Until he arrives, she suggests they need to rest until he comes back.

Elsewhere, the Salem witches’ rival, Marie Laveau, learns about Gen’s investigation from Mama Creole—the Fangarian Voodun Priestess, and Gen’s Aunt—and is hardly pleased hearing Marie has not only been making deals with the Corinthians, but had also been forcing her nephew to impart on her the Secret of the Amontillado.  Nor is Mama Creole thrilled about Marie establishing pacts with the Voodun Spirit, Papa Legba.
Fiona decides on releasing Marie’s immortal prisoner, Delphine LaLaurie, after she has gotten into a heated discussion with Jean-Damme over why he did not persuade Fangarius into divulging the Amontillado over to her.  Delphine apparently has a bone to pick with Jean-Damme and Marie, but bears a deep-rooted resentment towards the Fangarian as well.

Trending to Beaumont, Gen’s investigations leads him to the Bosquet Mystique Gardens.  The same grove where Misty Day was once burned as a witch back in 1968.  Without warning, the Fangarian is ambushed by two Chasse-Sorci, who plan on turning him over to the Corporation.  But this is thwarted when the Orange County Branch of Torchwood agents intervene, having other intentions for the Tombeurian.  At this point, Misty Day rescues Gen by draining all of the agents’ lifeforce, transforming them into trees, making another addition to her garden.

Misty heals Gen through her potions and phonomantic powers, by playing Fleetwood Mac’s ‘You and I, Part II.’  While undergoing his treatment, the Fangarian senses a vague familiarity about Misty, as her bioscent keeps registering something in the back of his mind.  More interestingly, what would require weeks, only takes days for him to fully recover.   During this time, he accidentally touches minds with Misty, learning how back in the Sixties, the hippies praised her for the miraculous way she could heal those, even from near death.  But on one fateful trip here in Beaumont, when Misty inadvertently brought a toad back to life, the Tellurian mortals pronounced her as a witch and burned her at the stake.  However, as Gen knows, burning a Paranormal is not a practical way of killing one.  Adopting Bosquet Mystique Gardens as her home, Misty covertly had regenerated herself, lying low here in her sanctum, which is a cabin, next to a greenhouse.
Remembering the true reason for his visit, Gen is about to make a request, though it is risqué, since Necromancy is frowned upon by the governing Paranormal Authorities.  Misty informs the Fangarian it is only a violation if one attempts to bring back a person in vain rather than for a meaningful purpose.  She perceives what Gen is about to entreat, informing him the entire affair would be pointless, for she detects someone has already resurrected Kyle.
Fearing the worst possible scenario, factoring in Madison’s annoying habit of invading his private sanctum, Gen wastes little time summoning his roadster.  Setting it into flight mode, the Fangarian conjures a dimensional portal, he briefly thanks Misty for helping him as he drives into the mystic gateway.
Arriving at the City Morgue, he produces a venom-mist as an amnesia-inducing draught for bypassing the authorities.  Entering into the section where Kyle and the other boys had been brought into from the paramedics, Gen searches for clues to what has happened.
Sniffing the atmosphere, he separates the scent of formaldehyde and rotting flesh from the distinct aroma of Parakinetic force lingering behind.  Determining the enchantment, he acknowledges two different spells were cast here.  One was definitely a reintegration spell, meaning somehow Kyle’s body was no longer usable, so a makeshift version was obviously made.  Yet, upon identifying the other, Gen’s blood runs cold.
Scanning the room once more, he discerns what appears to be a drop of blood upon the floor.  Gingerly poking his claw into it, he collects a sample of the substance.  Getting a whiff of it, he determines it is not blood, to his disdain as he then tastes it.
Identifying this critical piece of evidence, the Fangarian furiously sends his roadster, NightShayde, back to the Academy garage, while he himself teleports out of the Morgue in an explosion of brimstone, smoke and fire.  Afterwards, the enchanted fog instantly fades from the area, awakening the authorities out of their stupefied condition.

Days before Gen’s revelation, Zoe discovers an analog television which has been kept in pristine condition.  Astoundingly, in this age of digital broadcasts, the television functions without static or interference.  Attuned to an unknown frequency, Zoe observes a news broadcast covering the strange deaths of the Kappa Lambda Gamma fraternity brothers.  Curiously, they interview one Alicia Spencer, Kyle’s mother, who has been grieving for the loss of her son.  In anguish, she venomously rambles on about Harrison, blaming him for Kyle’s passing.
Misinterpreting Kyle’s sadness, as he is now huddled back in the corner, cross-legged, rocking and crying uncontrollably,  Zoe decides on taking him back to his home.  She presumes it will not only give Alicia comfort but give Kyle some thing back of his old life.  Cordelia incidentally discovers them when she hears the television from her personal lab, through the vent.
Though she admires Zoe’s efforts, she informs her bringing Kyle back to Alicia would not be the best idea.  As well as hinting she and Madison are in enough hot water with Fangarius as it is, when he finds out what they have done.  Kyle sees Cordelia, responding to her presence, asking where Gen-Gen is.  Comforting him, she tells him that Gen is on his way, casting an accusing glare at Zoe, and Madison who looks on through the door crack.
Nevertheless, Zoe manages to sneak out with Kyle and return to his home.  Because Kyle trusts Zoe he reluctantly goes with her.

Upon being reunited with her son, Kyle's mother is very emotional at the sight of him, seeing as she had been in the midst of grieving his death. But as she attempts to settle him back into their home, she begins to notice significant physical differences, stating that this is not him. While Kyle is in bed trying to sleep, she visits him and lies down next to him, saying that she has seen the scars and the obvious dissimilarity to his previous body, despite his face contradicting such a fact.  Enigmatically, she blames Harrison and his Wolf-Freaks for this, suspecting they had involved her son in some sick ritual which took his life, then somehow attempted to cover this up by creating a flawed duplicate of him.
However, Alicia claims she’ll accept this ‘gift,’ but adds this now gives her power to not only keep Kyle away from that Fangarian bastard, but to also shut down the Academy and sue the crap out of Harrison for doing this to her.
She then proceeds to place a light kiss on his lips which then intensifies and trails her hand down to his crotch while Kyle cries, revealing that she has been sexually abusing him.
Later on, an anxious looking Kyle is sitting cross-legged on his bedroom floor, rocking back and forth. His mother visits him once more, demanding to know why he won't talk to her (at this point Kyle refuses to speak to her or anyone). She then gives a speech trying to justify her abuse (which visibly angers Kyle) and begins to makes sexual advances towards him. An enraged and overwhelmed Kyle shoves his mother away from him.
Terrified, she watches Kyle grab one of his trophies, staring at her with disgust and rage.
‘NOOOO!’ Kyle rages, holding up the trophy at fore, about to bludgeon Alicia to death.
Closing her eyes, Alicia screams, until a flash of light bursts onto the scene. When she fails to feel the trophy’s deadly embrace, she nervously opens her eyes.
There she finds an angered Fangarius, holding back Kyle’s arm.  He stares into his half-brother’s eyes, making Kyle release his weapon.  Seeing his relation return for him, Kyle becomes emotional hugging Gen and weeping.  Gen shushes him, soothing the reintegrated, reanimated man.  Alicia attempts to retaliate, only to have Gen stop her by holding out his right hand, and placing her within a suspension field.
Eyes flashing crimson, an unearthly resonance escapes deep from his throat.
‘GET OUT..’ He infuriatingly warns.
Rage ineffective on her, Alicia starts protesting she is protecting her child from Gen’s kind, whereas Gen rebukes this, claiming he heard her flimsy justification, adding he’s been protecting Kyle from her kind.  In a low tone, he reminds her how it was her who chased Harrison away.
She angrily claims what he was doing to their son was unnatural, Gen reminds her Tombeurian males are not the same as Tellurian ones.  Adding to the fact Harrison at least cared for Kyle, when she originally didn’t want anything to do with her son.
Voice becoming a chilling whisper, Fangarius remembers how Kyle had come to him frightened, always seeking solace with him.  Yet, during this, Gen never spoke anything against Alicia, because she was supposed to be Kyle’s mother.  He continues stating it was the Tombeurian influence which taught Kyle compassion and forgiveness, even when some never deserve such things.
Now it’s Alicia’s turn to get angered as Gen goes on, reminding her it was Kyle who came back when Katrina hit, it was Kyle who supported her in time of need, despite everything she had done to him.
Eyes narrowing at her, he tells her on the day he learned what she had done to him at age twelve, she better be thankful their Frelan Dunestar was not round to hear about this, let alone Harrison himself.
Breaking the spell, Alicia furiously reveals she never loved Harrison, that their consummation was an intricate plot formulated by Torchwood.  When she failed to deliver Kyle, they exposed her to the world.  She was now called Wolf-Bitch, and was an outcast to her friends and family, where she was forced to leave Houston and live here in New Orleans.  She chased Harrison away because she did not want to live in a Tombeurian residence.  Enraged with these memories, she reaches for an X-Acto knife, prepared to stab Gen with it.
Before she can attack the Fangarian, Kyle does something unexpected.  Screaming with rage, he protests she will not hurt Fangarius, unleashing a blast of pure PK Energy upon her.  The supernatural assault transforms Alicia into a two-dimensional poster, trapping her forever, while Kyle stands there weeping uncontrollably.  Gen holds him, kissing his half-brother, consoling him and telling them they have to leave before the authorities show up.
‘Not that it really matters,’ Gen coolly proclaims, ‘they won’t find anything here.’
Surreptitiously, Gen fills the house with turpentine (left over from Kyle’s modeling kits) as they casually walk out.  Zoe observes in horror as Gen and Kyle walk several feet from the house, then the structure bursts into flames, burning it—as well as Alicia’s poster—to the ground.

Calling out Zoe, Gen gives her a spiteful expression as she comes out to greet them.  Before she can speak, he orders her to help him with Kyle, and he does not want to hear anything out of her, or Madison, when they get back to the Academy.  Unfortunately as they make there way through the forest, they encounter Misty Day.  Taking an interest in Kyle’s newly-reconfigured form, she states all resurrected beings are in her jurisdiction, ergo Kyle Spencer legally belongs to her now.
Remembering the fob watch Jean had given her, Zoe offers it to Misty as an exchange for Kyle, saying she and Madison did not realize they had to obtain permission from the witch.
Recognizing the symbols upon it, Gen gives Zoe a dubious expression, while Misty takes it from her.
Assessing the strange curio, she is surprised when it opens in her palm.  Releasing pure golden force upon her, Gen, Zoe and Kyle observe it dance round Misty like fireflies.  Transforming her into a dark-haired female, her clothes begin changing as well.  Floral ring becoming a multicoloured headband, white gown transforming into a jacket, dark shirt with crimson F-Symbol, dark slacks and shoes.  Her hands become slightly darker, nails claw-like, she ends up also producing a wolf’s-tail.  As the process ends, Misty Day has now been replaced by an entirely different person.
Fluffing out her hair, she breathes relievingly, telling Zoe she never thought she’d get that watch.
Gen stares disbelievingly at her, while Kyle responds by crying and approaching her.
‘’Lynn!’ He responds hugging her, while the altered Misty holds him, smiling warmly.
‘Hey, Kyle, baby!’ She says, then looks bewildered at him. ‘Whoa… what the hell happened to you, boyfriend?’

Disastrously, the Parakinetic Energy Kyle had expended upon Alicia has taken its toll on his new body.  When Gen informs them of this, ‘Lynn quickly acts by searching for a patch of deadly nightshade and sumac.  Much to Zoe’s dismay, she watches ‘Lynn consume the toxic plants, but Gen knows what his sister is doing.
Finishing her fatal salad, ‘Lynn concentrates momentarily as her body begins illuminating emerald light.  As it slowly turns to a deep crimson, she approaches Kyle.  Placing her hands upon his body, the crimson force surges through them, until Kyle’s body gives off a golden hue.  Afterwards, Kyle’s body is completely restored before the PK Event inside his home.
Gen explains to Zoe, his sister can absorb any type of toxic product—organic or inorganic—and not have any dire effect upon her.  But in turn, her body processes the toxic components into healing energy, which she can transfer into anyone or anything, curing any wound or health issue within reason.
Suspecting someone has used her Grimoire, as well as her brother’s Amontillado, ‘Lynn indicates right now, they need to go back to the Academy.
She obviously hasn’t had a decent bath in decades, and would like to freshen up.

At the Academy, Cordelia greets ‘Lynn with amazement and wonder, fearing Fiona had performed something drastic upon the Fangarian, while Gen and Zoe get Kyle placed back safe and sound into the attic.
After everything is settled down, ‘Lynn recalls back in 1963, when Fiona had come to visit her in Abilene, Texas.  While performing one of her healing treatments upon Fiona, ‘Lynn said they were discussing about Gen.  Specifically about a rumor of him having the infamous Amontillado, which was bequeath to him by their Uncle Montresor.
Naturally ‘Lynn feigns innocence, until Fiona proves the wine exists by revealing a parchment dated back 1768.  She then tells ‘Lynn she also knows Fangarius has the sacred formula, and wishes he gives it to her.  Fiona claims she will only keep the formula for herself and the Coven, so Gen can still maintain whatever promise he had made to their uncle.
‘Lynn blatantly informs her the Amontillado does not do quite what she thinks it does.  She also adds if G’nai denied her the mystical concoction it was with good reason, and she will not persuade him to break his sacred vow.

Gen concludes Fiona framed ‘Lynn by having the ParaCouncil and Shadow Proclamation believe his sister was sacrificing innocent lives as a means for curing others.  Zoe wonders why wasn’t ‘Lynn burned at the stake, though she insists she would not wish that punishment on anyone.  ‘Lynn clarifies killing Tombeurians aren’t as easily as destroying witches, and even witches must use a special wood to burn themselves.  So Jean-Damme used the Chameleon Chronos for her sentence, stating it absorbs her essence, transforming her temporarily into a Tellurian Paranormal.  She claims the reason the burning in 1968 did not take is because the altered physique cannot be destroyed by any means.

Despondent over these events, Gen realizes he has brought nothing but pain and misery to the ones he loves and cares about due to his knowledge of the Amontillado, recalling what Montresor had warned him about the concoction.  Initiating a brief private tantrum of repressed emotions in his room, he breaks down crying with Cordelia coming in and comforting him.
But it’s Kyle who enters and hugs him, telling Gen not to be sad, the Fangarian decides he can no longer just sit beside the sidelines in the arising war which is about to come.

Realizing he can no longer protect the Miss Robichaux’s Academy solely on his own, Fangarius sagely decides on educating the supernatural alumni about the two perilous factions:  The Corporation and Torchwood Institute.
Contrary to the customary Paranormal History textbooks, The Corporation is far than just a bunch of overzealous Paranormal hunters.  In reality, it’s a dark, sinister organization bent on world domination through economic manipulation.
Gen indicates The Corporation was responsible for the Stock Market Crash of 1929, when President Herbert Hoover refused to sign an Anti-Paranormal Act.
When Nan inquires why The Corporation hates them, since their goals aren’t related to the preternatural, Gen explains the Paranormal Realm does not heavily rely on any major economic system which they can manipulate.  Therefore, The Corporation perceives all Paranormals—especially witches and Tombeurians—as a potential threat.
Cordelia adds it was The Corporation who were responsible for instigating the hysteria, and propaganda campaign, initially bringing forth both The Great Cataclysm and the Salem Witch Trials.
Enforcing the seriousness behind the organization, ‘Lynn specifies before The Corporation’s establishment, there were over five thousand Clanstribes within world, but after The Great Cataclysm, only five—including the Fangarians—had remained.  She professes the Covens were caught under fire because they did not wish to take chances.  Feeling responsible for this senseless slaughter, the Clanstribes and Covens established a pact they would protect one another from the organization.

The Torchwood Institute, however, possesses their own agenda.  Ironically, they were established in England, 1879, by Queen Victoria, after an unfortunate incident with some displaced monks and a Stella-Lycan [Star Wolf, a Tellurian who has been afflicted by lycanthropy through extraterrestrial forces].  Gen vividly recalls protecting Victoria, but later being banished from the country, since Victoria had blamed him for the trouble in the first place.
Primarily the Institute was originally founded as a means for defending the planet from supernatural and extraterrestrial threats.  But things changed, regrettably, when President Rutherford B. Hayes, and Texas Governor Oran M. Roberts, became impressed with the Institute’s efficiency for handling the unexplained.
Both the U.S. and Harris County Branches now have decided to recruit Paranormals and turn them into mindless weapons against alien threats.  Gen reminds Queenie on how he had met her, and saved her from one of those agents.  ‘Lynn recalls how Torchwood had been desperately hounding their D’tei Harrison, not just for his abilities, but his inventive mind as well.

Inside the attic, Kyle uses the vent to listen in.  Upon hearing Torchwood, he recollects Alicia mentioning the Institute back at the house.  Memories assault his synapses, about how Alicia had planned on brining him in, then actually refused when she had learned what they had in store for him.

Once again, this sparks an emotional reaction, as he screams wildly, having both Gen and ‘Lynn come in and comfort him.  Although ‘Lynn wants to reveal the truth behind their father’s consummation with Alicia, she decides for now to keep it to herself.  For both her siblings have been through enough, and she watches Gen console Kyle, harkening back bittersweet memories.

Later that evening, Cordelia notices Gen is busy in the kitchen.  Observing the girls are also assisting him, she determines her associate’s not preparing their average dinner.  ‘Lynn informs Cordelia they are preparing a special meal for Roshan-Da’el.
According to the Tombeurian Clanstribes, a Roshan-Da’el is a sacrosanct banquet, also serving as a concord summit between the host and invited guests.  Since this diplomatic protocol being rather effective over several centuries, the Paranormal community promptly adopted it as a means for conflict resolution.
Cordelia perceives what Gen’s planning, hoping the night won’t end up in disaster, especially with ‘Lynn’s return.
Ironically, ‘Lynn indicates this is one of the reasons why G’nai has assembled this get-together, as well as acquiring them some inestimable insurance.
That night, Fiona, Marie and Delphine attend the sacramental festivity, rather impressed their host has prepared their favorite dishes.
Afterwards Gen diplomatically informs his guests about the Academy was first established by Miss Robichaux, and his mother, Diane.  Though he signifies Diane inexplicably passed away two months after his birth, ‘Lynn and Dunestar would tell him despite being one of the Sorceresses, their mother always cared for others.
Even when those didn’t deserve such devotion.
Taking these components into account, Gen states he made a consecrated vow he would protect the Academy and its alumni.  Besides being the first to create a proper educational environment for Paranormals, the Academy has also served as a safe haven for the supernatural community as well.
Bearing this in mind, the Fangarian proposes one simple request:  Fiona and Marie exclude the Academy from their political blood-feud.  He stresses the point he and Cordelia are responsible for these young witches, and consider them more than just students, but as their family.
‘Lynn swiftly reminds Fiona, besides being on thin ice with the Shadow Proclamation, the Supreme’s activities have suddenly created unwarranted attention from both The Corporation and Torchwood.
Naturally, Gen bares little doubt the Supreme and Head Priestess can hold their own against the likes of The Corporation, he distinguishes the Torchwood Institute is an entirely-different matter.   Brief dark memories permeate Marie’s mind, as she bitterly recalls when she was captured once by Torchwood agents in 1896.
Gen assures them he is not throwing his weight round, nor is he making threats of any kind, since that would make the Roshan-Da’el pointless.  Instead he implies despite staying out of their affairs, he will defend the Academy and its student body if necessary.  Silence fills the room, but after a minute, the guests thank Gen for his hospitality as they leave.

Strangely enough, the event causes Fiona and Marie to temporarily from a truce.  Erroneously believing the Fangarian’s genuine authority stems from the Secret of Amontillado, they scheme to extract this confidence from him.  In turn, with the Amontillado’s formula in their possession, they’ll become the most powerful beings in the world.
As a result, Fiona presumes this will abolish her fears about the upcoming Supreme.
Marie surmises the concoction will allow her to be free from Papa Legba’s dark contract.
Overhearing their plans, Madame Delphine surmises the Amontillado will not only restore her former glory to the LaLaurie legacy, but her socialite standing in the 21st Century, since she intends on marketing the wine to both Paranormal and Tellurians.  Regardless of the outcomes

Nevertheless, Fiona discovers the conundrum of how they can persuade the Fangarian to divulge the secret.  As well as Marie, since she knows if Mama Creole finds out, their mechanizations will be scrubbed before they can start.  While attempting on deciphering a solution, Fiona ends up learning about Kyle when she accidentally goes up into the attic.
Electing on using him as leverage against Gen, she tries implementing a Spell of Obedient Servitude upon Kyle.
Consequently, Kyle isn’t quite the ignorant oaf as he seems, sensing Fiona’s ominous intentions.
Resisting her powers, he is nearly destroyed by an annoyed Fiona.
Miraculously, an enigmatic, shadowy, spike-haired figure intervenes, informing the Supreme she is not impressed by her, nor does she approve of her superior attitude.  Particularly after Gen was graciously enough in requesting her to keep him and the Academy out of her affairs.  Since Fiona will obviously not listen to reason, the figure decides on preventing the witch from embroiling Kyle within this madness.  Therefore, the unknown interloper saves the reinvented man by dematerializing him within an explosion of light.
Once Kyle and the figure are gone, Fiona nervously becomes agitated, fearing she will be held accountable for Kyle’s disappearance.  Until her mind focuses on an interesting thought, one where she can use this situation to her advantage.

When Kyle’s disappearance has been detected by Zoe and Madison, ‘Lynn immediately orchestrates a search party.  Gen, however, suspects something amiss, because his half-brother would simply not leave the premises without reason.  Nor leave his haven without his siblings.  Fiona feigns responsibility, stating no harm will come to the man, if Gen complies with her terms.

Arriving to the La Fantôme, Gen reluctantly permits himself being ensnared by Fiona and Marie’s ambuscade.  Yet, they are surprised Delphine has successfully captured ‘Lynn, who comes in and claims unless the Tombeurian gives up the Secret of the Amontillado, both his siblings will meet a grizzly end.
Gen is about to concede to their demands, when the girls manage bursting into the meeting, exposing Fiona’s bluff.  Nan immediately tells her educator she does not sense Kyle within this dimension, yet, he is still alive.  The Fangarian bitterly demands to know what Fiona has done to his relation, only to have Marie side-line him with a sort de reliure, constricting him to a mahogany chair.  Temporarily removing his powers, Fiona wastes little time torturing him.
Cordelia enters, but Marie deals with her by transforming her into a living statue, as she has done with the other girls.
Yet, Gen fails yielding to their demands, though he is nearly left for dead.  Enraged with the being’s perseverance, and amazing threshold for pain, Fiona conjures forth the Lantern of Providence.  Recognizing the infamous artefact, Cordelia protests, stating it will psycho-kinetically destroy the Fangarian, leaving him as a mindless creature.  Fiona apathetically retorts she hardly cares in the least, since the Lantern will extract the information they need directly from Gen’s mind.
If, by some slim chance, Gen survives the excruciating process, she’ll simply perform an Obedience-Servitude Enchantment over him, transforming the being into her personal lapdog.

Warming up the fiendish device, Fiona utters the incantation to unleash its deadly power upon Gen.  Yet, as the parakinetic light beam approaches the Fangarian, it is deflected by Kyle, who suddenly appears within a flash of iridescent force.  Dispersing the vile Paranormal apparatus, he stares intently at Fiona, Marie and Delphine.  Before comprehending what has transpired, the three suddenly become intoxicated to a point where they all pass out.

At this precise moment, it becomes clear this is no longer the Kyle Spencer whom Madison and Zoe had assembled and revived.  For not only has his body been reconfigured back to its proper state, with the stitch scars removed, but there have been some odd augmentations as well.
Kyle reveals he now has fangs, darkened, claw-tipped hands and a wolf’s-tail.  Proudly claiming he is now truly a Fangarian, he is also far-more coherent and cognizant than his former incarnation.  Immediately freeing Cordelia and the girls, he tends to his siblings by administering a potion he received from another version of Gen.
Promptly revived, Gen decides it is better if they leave for now, than contend with the unconscious ladies resting upon the bed.

Later that evening, Fiona, Marie and Delphine awaken from their stupor, quite hungover, wondering what hit them.  Recalling the previous events, Fiona approaches the door.  But when she tries turning the doorknob, she horrifying notices it will not move.  Marie then notices something is wrong with the digital clock: though it is plugged in, the numbers are not moving.  Delphine senses something amiss, and she is right.
Another Tombeurian materializes inside the room.
At first, the three sorceresses identify him as Gen, until they discern some slight differences with his mannerism and attire.
Despite admitting he is indeed part of the Fangarian Clanstribe, and his name is Fangarius, he is in no way the being they acknowledge as Gen.
Instead he informs them he is a special relative who had taken care of Kyle, and sent him back in the nick of time.  Claiming he doesn’t care for bullies, he has decided to deal with them accordingly.

‘What right do you have,’ Fiona demands, ‘I’ll have you know I am a Supreme.’
‘Really?’ the alternate Gen smiles. ‘Well, I’ve every right, since I outrank you.’
‘Outrank her?’ Marie retorts. ‘Hell, how do you outrank a witch, or a priestess, I’d like to know..’
                ‘Because I’m Lord Fangariusotgenoamcdownald.’
‘Lord…’ Delphine raises an eyebrow. ‘Well, shit, you sayin’ you wolfies are royalty where you come from?’
‘In a manner of speaking,’ he bows to them. ‘You see, unlike my parallel counterpart, I’m a Paranormal Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. Oh, I’m called Fanger, so not to make any confusion. Now then…’

Taking out a pen-like device, he aims it at the women.  Emitting a strange whine, they notice the lights flicker for a moment.
When they inquire as to what Fanger has done, he smiles, replacing the device back into his jacket pocket.

‘Let’s just say I’m giving Gen a well-deserved break from your insanity,’ he devilishly grins. ‘And some time for you to reflect and contemplate on the nature of your actions. Ta-ta.’

Twitching his nose, Fanger vanishes from the room, leaving the bewildered women to their own devices.
Fiona checks her watch, and realizes horrifyingly what the Paranormal Time Lord has done to them.

Reaching back to the Academy, Gen sighs as everyone goes into the main living room, plopping down upon the couch.  Thanking his girls for their help, Gen suddenly notices the Academy receives a bizarre visitor.  A holographic duplicate of himself.

‘Fanger!’ Kyle smiles warmly. ‘You did it… I just saved Gen.’
‘Yes,’ Fanger relievingly sighs, brushing back his hair. ‘Thank Rassilon, I was afraid I’d miscalculated.’

The Paranormal Time Lord introduces himself, claiming Kyle encountered him in his Universe.  He adds they needn’t concern themselves about the Witchy Trio (as Fanger calls them) since he’s given them a Time-Out to mull over the consequences of their actions.  Gen thanks Fanger for helping Kyle and bringing him back to them.  Fanger nods telling them it was no trouble, while Kyle rolls his eyes, knowing this was far from the truth.

Before dispersing, Fanger tells Gen he will contact him on their birthday, but for now he has to end the transmission before someone suspects his presence.

While everyone goes to clean-up, recovering from the ordeal, Gen starts realizing he can no longer keep the true Secret of the Amontillado by himself.  Spying a copy of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘Cask of Amontillado and Other Tales’ resting on the coffee table, the Tombeurian exasperatedly sighs.  Gazing at the calendar, he notices September has drawn to a close as October approaches, as well as his birthday.
And decides, while gradually heading upstairs, he shall give his girls the most important, if not incredible, present during the Coming of Nuit de la Lune Fangarian.
